The Swiss franc bounced back from early losses against most of its major counterparts during New York mid-day trading on Tuesday.
After touching a 3-week low of 1.0340 at about 6:55 am ET, the franc gained slightly against the US dollar in mid-day deals today. At 10:45 am ET, the franc climbed to 1.0282 versus the greenback, compared to yesterday's close of 1.0218.
The franc also edged up against the euro and the Japanese yen from early morning session's lows of 1.5131 and 87.16, respectively. At present, the franc is worth 87.63 against the yen and 1.5108 versus the euro.
