Obama Delays Overseas Trip To Push Health Reform Vote

The White House said Friday that President Obama would delay his departure for the Asia/Pacific region by three days, in hopes of seeing the House vote for a health reform package. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi applauded the move, and said she expected a House vote soon. Elsewhere, San Francisco Federal Reserve President Janet Yellen emerged as the leading candidate for the post of Fed Vice Chairman.
