Markets End Week In Red

The market slumped for a third day in a row Friday, finishing the week in the red. A sell-off in tech and energy stocks kept the majors below the unchanged line. Earnings news took center stage. PC maker Dell posted a dismal third quarter performance. Smucker’s third quarter profit soared past expectations. Meanwhile, Gap revealed a larger-than-anticipated third quarter profit.
