Market Ends Week Strong, Dow Holds Onto 10,000

The market ended the week strong Friday. The Dow was able to hold on to 10,000 despite some disappointing economic news. The economy shed more jobs than expected in October according to the latest results from the Labor Department. Meanwhile the unemployment rate climbed to 10.2%. In earnings news, AIG swung to a profit in the third quarter from a loss a year ago.
